Two Different Business Model Alternatives: 
SHS signs 3-5 year agreements with is business partners. In line with the terms of the agreement, SHS undertakes the infrastructural investments of its partner as well as related maintenance and updating responsibilities.

SHS's business partner, in turn, may choose in between two distinctly different business models:

  • According to the revenue sharing model, a certain share of the revenue generated is shared by SHS and its business partner. The revenue sharing percentage changes between 20-35% in proportion with the magnitude of the investment undertaken by SHS.  
  • According to the seller's model, the full control of the revenue and pricing belongs to the property owner who pays a certain fee to Swisscom for every piece of service sold.
